As a lively young designer, creative thinker, and dreamer, I help companies in designing and realizing unique experiences. In my study Design for Interaction MSc at the TU Delft, I became an enthusiast for experiences that people can recall through their lives. It is my desire to create such experiences.
At Designstudio van Ginneken, I took my first steps into the world of theme park, exhibition, and hospitality design. I created designs for Drouwenerzand Amusement Park and holiday resort Kuierpad, all to the satisfaction of the clients.
I created a unique experience exhibition about The Battle of Overloon for the largest Dutch war museum, Oorlogsmuseum Overloon. The exhibition inspired on the design was opened on April 19th 2014, it was received with great enthusiasm.
At Apenheul Primate Park, I designed a new GorillaTrail that enriches the experience of the gorilla area and that conveys the mission of the Apenheul Foundation. Apenheul was very satisfied and acknowledged that the design achieved all its objectives.
At Jora Vision, I was greatly involved in the design and production of the first dark ride attraction, Les Volcans Sacrés, for the French edutainment park Vulcania. I worked closely with the project manager and made sure all design work was finished on time. Les Volcans Sacrés opened as expected on March 20th 2013.
In my graduation project, named ‘Introducing a social-emotional journey in the world of theme parks’, I performed research on the revisit problem of theme park attractions. I designed a new attraction that attempts to solve this problem. The qualities of the design were both acknowledged by the university and people active in the theme park industry.
At the moment, I am in search for my first opportunity to proof my design qualities in practice.
I love making new acquaintances, especially with whom I share my passion. So do not hesitate to contact me ► email@example.com.
I have a great urge for exploration and I like to be challenged. I truly love to get new stimulation and push my personal boundaries. By doing this, I regain my strength and peace of mind whereby I can perform as a designer. For me being a designer does not mean a 9 to 5 job. You never know where inspiration will come from, so I am always sensible for things that make me creative. In my personal life, I am in search for these kinds of experiences that provide spirit and inspiration. They give me an intense feeling of being alive.
Some of my hobbies: outdoor sports, cycling, swimming, snorkelling, hiking, yoga, driving, traveling, drawing, and painting.
